HCR/HSI Rectangular Damper with Belimo Fire & Smoke Actuator

Custom square and rectangular motorized damper built to your duct dimensions and factory-fitted with a Belimo FSLF fire and smoke actuator. The Hoyme damper assembly is not UL 555 or UL 555S listed and is not CSA certified, so it is not a substitute where a listed fire, smoke or combination damper is required. Confirm the application with the fire protection engineer before ordering. Use the HCR for new ductwork (it connects inline to open duct ends) or the HSI slip-in model for existing ductwork. Specify HCR or HSI in your quote request.

How the actuator behaves on power loss

The Belimo FSLF24 US (24 Vac/dc) and FSLF120 US (120 Vac) are on/off spring return actuators. When power is removed, the spring drives the blade to its fail-safe position, so the action code decides where the blade goes when power is cut. Confirm the action with the design engineer in writing before ordering.

Listed use: where a code, a specification or the authority having jurisdiction requires a listed fire, smoke or combination damper, specify a listed assembly. Do not use this product in its place.

HCR or HSI: which one do you need?

The HCR connects inline between two open duct ends, for new construction, remodels and any duct run being modified. The HSI slips into existing ductwork through a partial cut on one side only, so there is no need to remove a duct section or cut all four sides. The HSI is built slightly undersize so it slides inside the duct, and a 1" flange seats against the duct exterior. Order the interior duct dimension for either type, and call the factory if you are unsure how to measure.

Before you request a quote

1. Width and height: exact interior duct dimensions, in inches.
2. Type: HCR (inline) or HSI (slip-in).
3. Actuator: choose it on this page.
4. Action: Power Open or Power Close, confirmed with the design engineer in writing.
5. Configuration: standard or with end switch.
6. Steel gauge: 26 ga. galvanized standard; specify another gauge if the job calls for it.
7. Motor location: shortest side by default; specify another side if clearance requires it.

Dimensions, actuator, action, voltage and motor location cannot be changed after manufacture, and custom dampers cannot be returned. If any dimension is in doubt, call 1-800-661-7382 before ordering.
