Hoyme inline damper body with Belimo FSLF120 US — the 120 Vac version of the UL 555S listed fire and smoke actuator series. Same listing, same smoke damper application requirements, same elevated temperature construction as the FSLF24 US used in the HAC-90. One difference: the FSLF120 US accepts 120 Vac directly — no step-down transformer, no low-voltage control circuit required at the damper location. Sizes 6"–20".
⚠ Do Not Substitute HAC-44 (TFB120) on Smoke Damper Applications
The standard Belimo TFB120 (HAC-44) is NOT UL 555S listed and does not meet the torque, actuation speed, elevated temperature performance, or construction requirements for smoke damper service. Substituting HAC-44 for HAC-80 on a code-required smoke damper application will not pass inspection, creates liability exposure for the installing contractor and building owner, and affects the certificate of occupancy. Specify HAC-80 correctly the first time.

Action code must be confirmed by the fire protection engineer in writing before ordering. PO or PC on a smoke damper is a life-safety decision — the fail-safe direction determines where the blade moves during a fire event. Different locations in the same smoke control system may require different action codes. Do not assume, do not default — get the action code from the fire protection engineer before placing the order.

Smoke control system coordination required. The HAC-80 receives its fail-safe signal from the smoke control panel or fire alarm system — not from a standard HVAC controller. Coordinate with the fire protection engineer and fire alarm system installer on control wiring, fail-safe signal source, and commissioning verification.
