The line-voltage companion to the HAC-40. Same Hoyme inline damper body, same on/off spring return behavior, same PO/PC configuration, same 6"–20" size range. One difference: the Belimo TFB120 accepts 100–240 Vac directly — no step-down transformer, no low-voltage circuit required. Where line voltage is what's available at the damper location, the TFB120 is the actuator and the HAC-44 is the product.
If 24 Vac is available at the damper location, use the HAC-40 (TFB24) instead. The HAC-40 has confirmed CSA certification to 12", accepts 24 Vdc as well as 24 Vac, and the low-voltage wiring is typically already in place on BAS-controlled systems. The HAC-44 is the solution to a specific site condition — line voltage only — not a general upgrade over the HAC-40. Also confirm CSA certification status with Hoyme before ordering on code-required applications.
