What It Does
On/off spring return inline damper control at line voltage — no transformer, no low-voltage circuit required.
The HAC-44 is the line-voltage companion to the HAC-40 (TFB24). Same Hoyme inline damper body. Same on/off spring return behavior. Same PO/PC configuration options. Same 6"–20" size range. The single difference: the Belimo TFB120 actuator accepts 100–240 Vac directly, eliminating the need for a step-down transformer or a separate low-voltage control circuit.
Where line voltage is what's already at the damper location — commercial RTU fresh air intakes controlled from line-voltage RTU panels, industrial make-up air controlled by line-voltage contactors, retrofit installations where adding 24 Vac infrastructure is impractical — run the switched line-voltage circuit directly to the actuator. No transformer. No extra wiring run.
TFB120 vs. TFB24 — Voltage Is the Only Meaningful Difference
Use the voltage that's already at the damper location. The choice is a site condition, not a product upgrade decision.
