Factory-insulated motorized inline fresh air damper for cold climate installations — unconditioned spaces, crawlspaces, or any location where the damper body is exposed to temperatures that cause condensation. Same patented Hoyme drive as the standard HAC. CSA certified. Sizes 2"–9".
✓Factory insulation — applied before assembly — covers the actuator housing, motor lead exits, and collar joint where field-wrapping fails first
✓Same drive as standard HAC — patented Hoyme 24 Vac spring return, stall-protected, nylon bearings, CSA certified complete assembly
✓PO or PC action — confirm before ordering; changing the action after installation requires full drive disassembly and is not practical once the unit is in a duct run
✓End switch and relay available — same options as standard HAC; relay not available on 2" and 3"
✓Replacement parts stocked — motor kits, microswitch kits, spring return kits at your wholesaler
The HAC-L insulates the damper body only. The duct run from the exterior penetration to the HAC-L still requires insulation per code. If the damper is in conditioned mechanical space with no condensation risk, the standard HAC is sufficient and less expensive.

Need an ADP relay adaptor? For ventilation code compliance — fresh air damper interlocked with furnace fan — the ADP relay adaptor sequences the HAC-L open first, proves position via end switch, then energizes the fan. Order the SPO or SPC variant when using an ADP adaptor. See the ADP series for the correct model for your application.
