 HMI  BDD Series - Back Draft Damper

 

The Hoyme Back Draft Damper comes in two styles.

Both are spring return and as a result can be mounted in any position.
 
The first one pictured below is an inset Butterfly type. 
They commonly come in sizes of 4" - 6" in diameter.

The other type that Hoyme offers is a single blade type regular inline style pictured below.
These dampers typically range from 4 - 24" in diameter.

Model Number Identification:

BDD - **00 - 000 (-B)

Where ** is the size of the Damper

For example, an 12" Back Draft Damper would be

BDD - 1200 - 000

for inset Butterfly style add the "-B" to the part number.

For example, an 6" Back Draft Damper would be

In addition there is also the BDH - Back Draft Hood.
These are available in sping close and gravity close models and your choice of regular or painted white metal.
Typically in sizes ranging from 4" - 12" in diameter for the round damper opening.

Where ** is the size of the Damper and x  indicates an end switch (with an S or a 0).

For example, an 8" Back Draft Hood - Spring Closed would be
