The Series ’HAC - F’ Ventilation Air Flue Damper, is designed to save energy by stopping the escape of warm air up the chimney vent while the heating appliance is not firing and is interlocked to be open during firing.
The HAC-F - VENTILATION FLUE AIR CONTROL DAMPERS are also designed with a 10% bypass to allow for a minimum escape of air during the off cycle of firing. Nylon bearings and all wiring are mounted 1" away from the heated part of the damper to prevent the effects of excess heat. These dampers are also designed for years of trouble free service.

The 4" - 12" models are CSA International Certified.
Other sizes are also to be installed according to good engineering practice acceptable to authorities having jurisdiction.

Features Include:

- 26 ga. galv. steel from 4" to 5" dia.; 24 ga. galv. steel from 6" to 9" dia.; 24 ga. galv. re-enforced steel from 10" to 14" dia.; 22 ga. galv. re-enforced steel from 16" to 18" dia.: Other sizes and weight of steel upon request.

These dampers are interlocked to the appliance and are CSA certified (4" - 12") .
